The plant-based magic inside
Freshly juiced Aloe Vera promotes healing and reconstruction while protecting skin from dehydration and irritation. Shea butter and grapeseed oil have moisturizing properties and provide the skin with a soft and smooth appearance.
Myrtle is an ideal astringent for sensitive, porous, oily skin. It tones and soothes while smoothing out deep lines. Cypress disinfects while calming and enhancing the appearance of dry skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness.
Rockrose resin is for maintenance, keeping the skin in good condition but also to give the distinct sweet musky scent. White clay helps the razors slide easily.
Clove has antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Vanilla is extra conditioning and turns shaving into a luxurious experience when relaxing the senses with its light sweet scent.

Scent & Texture
With a sweet musky, almost addictively gorgeous smell (the writer of this has openly a crush with this soap), and a non-sticky texture. Dries well after each use on a well-draining soap dish.
Produces rich and thick foam when using the brush, with lukewarm water. Produces a thinner but enough to shave foam when rubbed between the hands. It’s not drying to the skin and leaves it feeling super clean.

How it is made
Unique and handmade: made from scratch, using the cold process method, hand-blended. One batch at a time to ensure freshness and consistency. Cut and trimmed by hand, and cured for 8 to 10 weeks. Zero waste was created during its production. Sustainable. With eco-friendly formula and packaging. The soap itself is 100% biodegradable.

How to use
With a brush
Wet your brush and squeeze lightly to drain the excess water. Hold the brush inside the palm of your hand so that all your fingers embrace it. Rub it in a circular motion just once on the soap. Then use a small bowl, add to it 4-6 drops of water, rub the brush in, with a circular motion several times to build a rich, thick foam. If you want, add another 2 drops of water. In 5-10’, you will have enough foam for the whole face. Apply the foam on the face and start shaving. If you want, have lukewarm water in a low glass to rinse the razors. Ideally, when you finish and wash your face, do not dry it completely. With dry fingers take some of the Men’s face cream and apply it on wet skin. Let it fully absorb. The result; Smooth deep shave, and hydrated pores without irritation!
Without a brush
Wet your bar and hands with lukewarm water. Start a circular motion with the bar between the palms, to create a basic foam. Pass the foam from hands to face and continue shaving. This technique may sound more simple and easier but in reality, it uses more soap than if you used the brush, plus your razors may fill up faster. You will need lukewarm water in a low glass to rinse it often as you shave. The result; Smooth shave, and hydrated pores without irritation!

Shelf Life and Care:
Take care of your soap by keeping it in a cool place without heavy moisture until the first use and on a dry surface after each use to prolong its life. Light exposure may turn it lighter in colour, starting from the outside towards the inside of the bar.

Disposal guidelines
The wrapper is certified compostable in a home compost. Throw it in the home compost bin where it breaks down safely. So does the paper label. The box can be composted or put in the recycling bin for paper. The soap, is biodegradable but also meltable in warm water, so why waste the leftovers? Melt them down in a bowl with warm water (let it sit for some hours) and dip your sponge in this DIY liquid soap result to clean your body, your dog, the counter -anywhere you fancy! Don't like liquid soap? Save the scraps of soap in one of the soap bags to use all together till their very end.

Shipping packaging:
Ships in a carton made of recycled kraft paper (we also reuse cartons from our personal deliveries if they're in good condition), filled with (Void filler) shredded paper of magazines and leaflets that local shops drop in our mailbox daily. The invoice and other paperwork get printed on recycled paper (used wherever they are necessary eg. get through customs outside of the EU) or if possible (within Greece and the EU) are sent digitally to your email to avoid printing.
