How to use for your skin:
As a lotion against skin rashes:
Add 1 teaspoon of herb in water (about a cup) and simmer for 3′. Turn off heat and leave in for 5′ to extract the properties and spicy aroma. Strain in a clean spray container and let it cool. Store in the fridge. Use it as lotion after the shower. Follow up with the skin care balm on the troubled skin. Use within a week.
As a DIY anti-plaque mouthwash:
Thyme here acts as an effective antiseptic treatment against plaque, tooth decay, and bad breath. The antibacterial and antiseptic properties of thyme help achieve this.
Boil a tablespoon of thyme leaves in 2 cups of water, set aside for 5′ to soak and then strain in a bottle. Shake well before use. Brush and floss your teeth and then swish 1/4 of a cup around your mouth and spit it. Use within a month after making it.
