This pot of luscious butter texture consists of argan oil and coconut butter, a blend to use both on your skin and your hair care.
Argan oil is a rare gem that is worth its weight in gold. It’s made from the nuts of the argan tree, which is indigenous to Morocco. The oil is a robust oil with a distinct nutty sweet scent that is mostly used as a hair and skin treatment. It’s chock-full of essential fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that promote overall health by moisturizing, softening, and protecting skin and hair from sun damage without harmful toxins and Parabens.
Coconut butter can prevent and help in repairing hair damage. It adds healthy shine, and smooths dry and frizzy hair. It has both a moisturizing and a regenerating effect. It also firms the skin, adding radiance to it.
Argan oil is a great moisturizer for the skin. It’s rich in vitamin E, which is a fat-soluble antioxidant that can help improve water retention in the skin. It also contains a large number of healing properties, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce symptoms of different inflammatory skin conditions like psoriasis and rosacea (Source).
Argan oil is undoubtedly a beauty elixir from head to toe. It’s like a genie in a tin-pot that can grant you every wish. Want to have hair that shines like the sun? Argan oil can do that. Want to have skin that’s as soft as a baby’s bottom? Argan oil can do that too. Want to have a complexion that’s as smooth as silk? You guessed it, Argan oil can do that as well.
How to use:
Argan butter is a versatile product that can be used in many ways to promote healthy skin and hair. Here are some ways to use it on wet hair and skin:
- As a body butter: Simply get a few strokes of it on your freshly cleansed, still damp, body and massage it gently. Allow a few minutes for the butter to sink in before getting dressed.
- As a leave-in hair conditioner: After washing your hair, get a tiny dollop on your hands, massage it to melt it, and then apply it on the ends of your hair. Massage it in gently and leave it in for a few hours or overnight. This will help moisturize and soften your hair, making it more manageable and less prone to breakage.
- As a hair mask: First wet your hair and towel dry it really quickly. Smear a good amount of product- your body’s heat melts the product into a liquid mask. Massage it on the scalp, roots and ends of your hair. If needed, comb the product through. Leave it on for 30 minutes to an hour before rinsing it off- or even overnight. This will help nourish and strengthen your hair, leaving it soft, shiny, and healthy.
- As a styling product: Apply a tiny bit with your fingers all around the damp ends of your hair before blow-drying and styling it. This will help tame frizz, add shine, and protect your hair from heat damage caused by styling tools.
Remember, a little goes a long way when it comes to this product. Start with a small amount and add more as needed. With regular use, you’ll notice a significant improvement in the health and appearance of your hair and skin.
