Important information for our US customers

Summary
Due to new US customs and tariff regulations introduced in August 2025, orders shipped from Greece to the United States may now be subject to high and unpredictable customs and brokerage fees. For this reason, US orders may be confirmed or canceled before shipping, once the estimated customs cost is known. Orders that are already shipped and later refused cannot be fully refunded.

Important update for our US customers regarding customs and tariffs

We want to openly share an important update with our customers in the United States, as recent regulatory changes are affecting international shipments.

In August 2025, new tariff and customs rules were introduced in the USA. Since then, orders shipped from Europe to the US, especially cosmetic and skincare products, may be charged significantly higher customs duties, taxes, and courier brokerage fees. These charges are set by US customs authorities and courier companies and are not controlled by us.

 

Unfortunately, these costs are not shown at checkout and only become known once the courier processes the shipment.

 

How we now handle US orders

To remain fair and transparent, we have adjusted how we process US orders.

You place your order and pay for the products and shipping during checkout as usual.

Before shipping your order, we prepare the waybill and request an estimated customs and clearance cost from the courier.

We then contact you with this estimate so you can decide how you would like to proceed.

At that point, you may choose to continue with the shipment and accept the additional customs charges, or cancel the order before it ships and receive a full refund.

This allows you to make an informed decision before your package leaves our hands.

 

What happens if an order is already shipped

Once an order has been shipped, the situation changes.

If the recipient refuses to pay the required customs or clearance fees, the package cannot be returned to us without additional import charges on our side. In most cases, the courier disposes of the shipment.

When this happens, we can refund only the value of the products. Shipping costs, customs fees, and handling charges are non refundable.

Please note that even in these cases, we still absorb the cost of preparing and processing the order. This policy exists to protect the sustainability of our small business.

 

Why we are sharing this

Our US customers are incredibly important to us, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience these changes have caused. This situation affects many small international brands and is outside our control.

We are actively working on long term solutions, including improved courier agreements and exploring US based fulfillment options. Until then, transparency is the most honest approach.
