A new FISIKA era has began through a labour of love

At FISIKA, we’ve always believed in the power of connection – between people, nature, skincare, and of course, between our products and our beloved customers. That’s why we’re beyond excited to share the story behind our new website launch.

After months of late nights, endless video calls, and more revisions than I can count, our new website FISIKA.GR is finally live! As a self-made entrepreneur and a mom of two, arriving at this point has been an emotional rollercoaster, but also quite an adventure. 

It all began with a vision – to create a digital space that truly reflects the heart and soul of FISIKA, where you can explore our natural skincare treasures with ease and delight.

With limited resources and without the luxury to be able to afford an expensive marketing agency, our small team wished to create something professional and beautiful.

 

 

I challenged myself in designing the new aesthetic, writing all the copy, constructing the layout, and piecing every aspect together. All while caring for my little ones. I did have help though -with no prior experience in coding, web development, or programming, I had invaluable support from my husband and my brother.

Speaking of family, when I first started mapping out the new site, you can imagine how excited my toddler was. “Mommy you draw on computer!”. In her innocent little mind, the excitement slowly turned into a complaint. Mom was no longer spending her afternoons playing but working on the computer instead- the harsh reality of a working parent.

While part of me was excited to create something new for our business, another part of me felt torn. Torn between the need to pour all my energy into making a website that illustrated our brand values. And the ache of missing out on so many moments with my daughter. I felt stuck behind the computer, my mind fried from trying to do it all.

“Motherhood is desperately seeking a break while also not wanting to miss a single moment.” 

This quote has never rung more true.

There were days I wanted to quit, to just settle for “good enough” and be done with it. But you, our dear customer, deserve more than that. You deserve a smooth user experience that showcases the care and quality of our services and products. So I dug deeper, spending hours getting every last detail just right.

 

 

Thanks to the unwavering support and teamwork of my FISIKA family, I was never alone. Maria K., a true hurricane of productivity, managed our inventory, and operations with her signature avra of calm and multi-tasking prowess. Jula, with her boundless creative and fun energy, filmed and edited all our gorgeous new product videos (soon to be revealed). 

Bianca has been our go-to for positivity and humor through it all, keeping us laughing through even the most stressful of times. And Filio, our co-founder, with her keen eye for detail, took the time to meticulously proof every last word on the site, while also being my voice of reason when the self-doubt would creep in.  

Each of us played to our unique strengths and had each other’s backs every step of the way. Our driving force was a single-minded focus on creating something exceptional for you and our beloved FISIKA community.

 

 

So now that the PUBLISH button is finally clicked and our labor of love has gone live, I can’t help but feel a mix of pride, relief, and… exhaustion. Pride for the beautiful site my team and I have created, a digital manifestation of our brand’s heart and soul. Relief that this particularly grinding season is over. But also exhaustion from continually struggling with the competing demands of a working mom’s life. All the late nights, self-doubts, and struggles leading up to it were worth it to deliver this beautiful new digital home for our brand.

As you explore the new site, I hope you’ll see just how much thought and effort went into making it as user-friendly and engaging as possible. More than just fonts and colors, it represents our deeper commitment to creating an unparalleled experience for you.

We can’t thank you enough for your patience and for sticking by us through this whole crazy process! Your amazing support is what motivates our tiny, mighty team!
