Real stories #1
Let’s get one thing straight. I don’t actually make the soap. That’s Filio’s territory. I do everything around it; the branding, the labels, the flyers, the newsletters, the Instagram posts, the packaging, the website, the partnerships, the storytelling. Basically, I turn what we make into what people see.
And yet… I haven’t showered today.

Not because I don’t want to. But because somewhere between writing a product description, cleaning up a BLW toddler, sending emails, finding the best eco-label option, responding to a customer from Canada, remembering we’re out of potatoes, and helping our intern find her confidence, I forgot.
Actually, no. I didn’t forget. I just never got to it.
And that’s the thing. Everyone thinks that if you work in wellness, you must live in a zen bubble of eucalyptus steam and perfectly sliced avocado. But the truth is, I work in wellness because I’m desperate to remember it myself. Desperate to stay grounded in a world that constantly spins.

Sometimes I feel like I’m split in pieces. One part trying to be a present mom. One part trying to keep a store open and welcoming. One part trying to grow a brand people love. One part dreaming of taking a nap without guilt.
The other day at the park, a mom told me, “I used to have hobbies. Now I just have snack bags and unfinished thoughts.” We laughed, not because it was funny- but because it was true. That moment stuck with me. It reminded me how many of us are carrying invisible loads, quietly doing our best. Maybe what we need most isn’t more advice on how to manage it all, but more gentle nods that say “I get it”– more spaces where we don’t have to prove anything, just show up as we are, even with unwashed hair.

Maybe you’ve skipped a shower too. Maybe your inbox is overflowing, your kid just threw a banana at the wall, or you’re just so tired from doing everything that doing one more thing feels impossible.
If that’s you, I see you.
This space at FISIKA- isn’t just about skincare. It’s about real care.
The kind that says: “You’re doing great.”
The kind that reminds us we’re not alone.
