How is our beeswax ethical? We work exclusively with small-scale beekeepers who collect beeswax in different forms, combs with clips, combs with mouths, frames that are very old and need to be replaced, elongated frames, etc. while treating the bees in the most careful caring way. Our beeswax is then carefully cleaned and tested and gets melted in low temperatures. **Made in our lab with local fruit. No synthetic preservatives were added (which are usually present in an industrially made extract). ^These are naturally occurring, non-synthetic components within our pure essential oils, not singular ingredients added. Limonene is an antioxidant compound found in the essential oils of many citrus fruits such as grapefruit. Linalool is most often produced in plants’ floral tissue eg. in lavender. The presence of these in the formula is in safe and non-irritating quantities as certified via official chemical analysis. Fragrance Transparency. This means that the fragrance ingredients are fully disclosed to you. We don’t hide anything in the ingredient word “fragrance/ perfume”. All our ingredients are included in the section above. Plus we don’t actually use any ingredients for perfuming reasons but for their actual active properties and how they can be useful to our skin.

Shelf Life and Care:

  Take care of your cream by keeping it in a cool place without heavy moisture until the first use and once opened be careful not to put wet fingers in the jar to prolong its life.

*Dark amber glass jars can be cleaned after use, and be reused eg. as a single succulent pot, or can be thrown into the glass recycling bin to be crushed, melted, and molded into new jars again and again. If available, throw it in the brown and amber glass bin.

 

Shipping packaging:

Ships in a carton made of recycled kraft paper (we also reuse cartons from our personal deliveries if they're in good condition), filled with (Void filler) shredded paper of magazines and leaflets that local shops drop in our mailbox daily. The invoice and other paperwork get printed on recycled paper (used wherever they are necessary eg. get through customs outside of the EU) or if possible (within Greece and the EU) are sent digitally to your email to avoid printing.
